I hate to show my comic-geeky side, but this isn't the first time Batman's been linked with Bulwer-Lytton. I could swear I've read a two-page story (my brain insists it was written by Walt Simonson) which used ol' Eddy's most famous sentence as a narrative.
That makes me feel like I really need to get out more. And here I was, just trying to say "good show, Marionette, good show."
